This speculative painting of Staffordshire’s foremost Cathedral found its way into the prestigious Singer and Friedlander/Sunday Times Watercolour Competition exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London in 1997. It was sold on the preview night; being purchase by Staffordshire entrepreneur, the late Sir Stanley Clarke OBE who ran St Modwen Properties.
