Orders and delivery

Placing your order and checking out

This site uses PayPal and Stripe to ensure that you can make your purchase securely and with confidence.

When you arrive at the checkout page, you will firstly be asked to complete your billing details. You will then be asked to choose one of two payment methods to complete your transaction. The options currently available are PayPal and credit or debit card (which is processed by Stripe). You don’t need an account with either PayPal or Stripe to use them; just a valid payment card.

Please rest assured that none of your card details are ever passed to us.

Alternative payment options/cheques

We are very happy to accept your orders in letter form with an accompanying cheque payment or by completing the pay by cheque section at the checkout and following the instructions there.

If you would like to pay by cheque please send your payment together with a completed order form to the address provided on the form.

Alternatively, complete the appropriate section at the checkout. Please note that you will need to be able to receive email to check out in this way.

Please note that only cheques drawn on a UK bank account can be accepted.

Turn around times will obviously be longer as we wait for a cheque to clear before dispatching any order.

Free UK delivery

Orders do not incur postage charges when delivered to a UK address.

UK shipping is by either Royal Mail Signed for or in certain circumstances by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Shipping outside of the UK

If you are ordering from outside of the UK, items will be sent using Royal Mail’s International Tracked or Tracked and Signed for Services.

Two flat-rate shipping charges are applied for delivery outside of the UK. These are Europe and rest of the world; and will be added automatically at the checkout when you enter your address details. To ensure that the correct price is applied, please remember to fill out all sections of the address form correctly on the checkout page.

With Royal Mail’s International Tracked or Tracked and signed services; items cost more to send than ordinary post because they require delivery confirmation and are tracked. The current charges for Europe are £11 and for rest of the world £14.

Returns and refunds

Additional bespoke services & costs

If you want to commission bespoke work which makes use of an additional service, such as print mounting or framing; then additional charges would apply.

In all cases, such additional charges will need to be agreed and confirmed with the artist in writing. Such agreed charges would need be received before work on an order commences.

Dispatch Times

Items ordered with PayPal/Stripe are dispatched within 7 days. For cheque payments, the 7 days begin only after clearance of your cheque by our bank.

In both cases, you need to allow additional time for delivery.

Please consider these factors before you place an order for an item that is required urgently; as we will not be held responsible for delays which are not of our making.

If you do require an item urgently, it may be possible to meet your requirements and we will always aim to help you out; however please always call or email us first to discuss your specific requirements.

To avoid disappointment, please do not assume we can fulfil an unrealistic deadline!
