This picture in pastels and gouache [opaque watercolour] of Bichon Friese ‘Dipsy’ was commissioned from Derbyshire pet portrait artist John Twinning by Maria for her husband Phil – who is Dipsy’s greatest fan. The lovely full length study was based on a photograph supplied by the client.
