Nestling little more than a stone’s throw away from “The House in the Clouds” on the edge of Thorpeness village in Suffolk, is this fabulous windmill. I was so blessed to have captured this mill on such a wonderful sunny day with just the right amount of cloud and and intense blue sky which just made it a winner for me.
Originally built to grind corn, it was converted to a water pumping mill when it was moved to Thorpeness .
