This commissioned painting is probably one of my favourite works during 40 years of serious painting.
Acknowledgements : I dutifully acknowledge that the reference photo I worked from was produced from four separate image resources. I have amended each of the four pictures in some way, either by subtracting or adding to them. Those selections have then been put together to form what is a quite different ‘collaged’ image. Hence, it is a combination of particular areas of the four separate images rather than being an exact copy of the entirety of any single picture. No copyright infringement is intended. I am keen to credit these source images if you would care to get in touch. Furthermore, I am very happy to supply a large print of this painting free of charge to whoever took the picture which has contributed most to the final work I display here.
