This picture in gouache features Kristoff and Georgie snuggled together and was the 3rd commissioned piece featuring these lovely felines by Derbyshire pet portrait artist John Twinning. The piece was commissioned by Barbara after she saw my work at The Belper Arts Trail in 2025. The study was based on a photograph supplied by the recipient and edited by the Artist to produce a reference image to work from. Kristoff and his companion Georgie were rescue cats from Cyprus who are sadly both blind. Their similar appearance could almost lead one to believe that they are siblings, but apparently this ginger and white appearance is the predominant marking for feral cats on the island.
